1. Introduction & Server Philosophy

Welcome to Unova Roleplay, a serious FiveM roleplay server focused on realistic, immersive, and story-driven roleplay.

Unova Roleplay operates under the principle of Roleplay over Ruleplay in limited circumstances. Strong believable roleplay may take priority over strict rule interpretation only when approved by staff.

By joining Unova Roleplay, you agree to always follow these rules both in-city and out-of-city.

2. Community Standards & General Conduct

2.1 Eligibility & Requirements

• The server is strictly 18+
• You must have a clear and functional microphone
• You must always have clipping software turned on
• Controllers are permitted within the server

2.2 Discord & Whitelisting

• You must be a member of the Discord with a valid whitelist role
• Leaving the Discord may result in whitelist removal
• Whitelist applications using AI may be rejected

2.3 Staff Interaction & Conduct

• Do not DM or tag staff members
• All issues must be handled via tickets
• Discussing reports outside tickets is forbidden
• Staff disrespect will not be tolerated

2.4 Development & Staff Interaction

• Suggestions must be posted in the correct Discord channel
• Developers wearing developer vests cannot be interacted with
• Bullying, racism, sexism, homophobia or abuse will not be tolerated

3. Respect, Safety & Zero-Tolerance Policies

• No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or discrimination
• No harassment or bullying
• No cheating or exploiting
• No selling in-game items for real money
• No advertising other servers

4. Character Creation & Roleplay Integrity

4.1 Character Names & Looks

• Characters must have realistic names
• Names must comply with platform TOS
• You cannot wear staff uniforms unless staff

4.2 Staying In Character

• You must remain in character at all times
• No OOC comments or rule quoting during RP
• Report rule breaks after the scene finishes

4.3 Prohibited Roleplay

• No ERP
• No Suicide RP
• No Terrorism RP

5. Metagaming, Powergaming & Fail RP

5.1 Metagaming

• No using Discord or stream information IC
• No external communication during RP scenes

5.2 Powergaming

• No unrealistic physical abilities
• No forcing RP outcomes
• No mechanic abuse

5.3 Fail RP

• No ignoring injuries
• No unrealistic reactions
• No poor-quality disruptive RP

6. Combat, Violence & Life Value

6.1 RDM

• You need valid story-driven reasons to harm players
• Guns should always be a last resort

6.2 VDM

• Vehicles cannot intentionally be used as weapons
• Vehicle combat must be roleplayed realistically

6.3 Vehicle Jumps

• Vehicle jumps are permitted if realistic
• Crashes require injury RP

6.4 NVL

• You must realistically fear for your life
• Ignoring danger is considered NVL

7. New Life Rule & Injury RP

7.1 NLR

If you enter a coma or respawn, you forget the last 15 minutes leading up to the incident. You cannot return to the same scene or instantly seek revenge.

7.2 Injury RP

• All injuries must be roleplayed realistically
• You may not instantly recover from serious injuries
• You cannot ignore pain or wounds

8. Crime, Robberies & Hostages

• You cannot rob Stage 1 or Stage 2 players
• Robberies require valid RP and weapon usage
• Violence must always be justified
• Fake hostages are forbidden
• You may not rob your hostage

9. Police, Whitelisted Jobs & Corruption

• No impersonating PD, UHS, Fire or Government
• Whitelisted jobs are protected
• Corruption requires staff approval
• Police equipment cannot be stolen
• Boxed vehicles must surrender during chases

10. Zones, Initiation & Special Areas

• All hostile RP requires initiation
• There are no red zones
• Green Zones include UHS, Fire, Government and events
• No hostile RP inside Green Zones

11. Tasers & Weapons

• Melee and gun users must fear tasers realistically
• The first firearm drawn gains upper hand
• Only PD may possess the Glock-19
• Staff may allow exceptions for high-quality RP
